As a former long distance runner, Raad Alawan learned his share of lessons on the course, the most important of which was to move forward, no matter how difficult the terrain. Today, the New Braunfels, Texas resident applies that lesson to his real estate dealings. And it's paying off: now in his 8th year as a real estate professional, Alawan has increased his volume every year since he started, and had his best year in 2021, helping 20 families with their real estate goals.
"It's so important that I'm exceptionally good at what I do because a person's home is their largest assest," says Alawan. "I'm always sharpening my skills so I'm ahead of the curb and daily trends. I really believe that I need to provide an overwhelming amount of value to my clients so their needs are taken care of and my business can thrive."

The Broadcast and Journalism grad combines his keen preparation and deadline skills with his business acumen and flair for communication to create a positive experience for both sellers and buyers.
Nowadays, professionals need to wear so many hats, Alawan says. "We not only need to sell a product, we need to know how to market effectively, manage a transaction, personalities, handle problems and provide solutions."
